My ipad will not download certain apps others without a problem? Does anyone have an idea what I need to do?

I am trying to watch a TV show on my ipad. The apps that would allow that Hulu, ABC, NBC..etc will not download. The buy box or free box is gray and does not respond? Other apps download fine. Does anyone have any advice?

Have you got an app age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions > Apps that is stopping them from being bought ?
