I have tried reseting my password in the terminal and i cannot use the appstore. I can login, but not purchase anything. I would like to purchase mountain lion but cannot because of this problem. thanks for any help.

siging out of mobile me, and itunes account then
deleting the /var/folders/ contents fixed the problem after a reboot.
Ok, first of all there was no need to be doing this in terminal, second of all, you're not really resetting your password here. In any case, glad it's fixed now.
