Windows 8 Boot Camp support software

2. Windows 8 isn't compatible with Boot Camp, so wait until Apple releases updated Boot Camp drivers

Windows 8 is not yet supported, there are no drivers, wait for them or use Windows 7.

You've deleted OS X.

1. Press Command and R keys when your Mac starts.

2. Open Disk Utility, select the hard disk in the sidebar and erase it.

3. Install OS X

If you got Bootcamp download from Mountain Lion then the Version of Bootcamp is 5, I believe.

In any case, Windows 8 will not accept any Bootcamp version below 4. It maybe complains but should automatically go into compatibility install by itself.

If it does not, you can right click the Bootcamp's Setup.exe on CD or disk - wherever you have it, and set compatibility to Windows 7 SP1.

Also, it is not a bad idea to copy your versions of Bootcamp to some save area in your Windows account.
