I can't use my google and youtube account via login to youtube on my Apple TV, but same login works from my iPhone and computer so username and password is correct.
Anyone else experiense this? have a solution?

For a couple of days I've been unable to login to youtube from my apple tv 3 and ipad's youtube app. Thought it was because of the Google's two step verification but by turning it on and using the generated app passwords the outcome was still the same - incorrect username or password. Although the 2-step verification seems to work like a charm with Mail app. So I'm thinking to myself that it has to be related only to the Youtube app not my account in general.

I solved my login issues via recall my 2 step verification and create a new password twice.
Now it works perfectly.
I created a new password in my google account for youtube, but when I entered it on Apple TV, it still didn't take it.

I will call Applt Support tomorrow. It no solution, I will return the item.
2 factor does not work for Apple TV. It works on my phone app, but not the one on Apple TV (2nd Gen). Still says my account not supported for Apple TV. I only have 1 channel. Crappola.
