software issues..

This might be a bit of a long winded description so apologies!

I changed my phone wallpaper last night and after this, I noticed when I double tap the home button to close the apps properly, all the apps on my home screen disappear into the background completely. All I can see is a faint outline of the names like 'instagram' etc but no icons. When I close the apps down and go back to the main screen, the apps appear normally. I'm sure before this, they used to fade somewhat into the background but were still on the whole, pretty visible.

I've tried changing the background back to one that came loaded onto the phone but the same thing is happening.

Is this a software fault?

Another thing:

When I send a text, it sometimes reaches the end of a line and if I tap the space bar to get a fullstop, it will not do it, the spacebar just flashes with no fullstop coming out and I cannot touch the return button to clear down what I've typed. I have to delete the whole word as opposed to just one character before it lets me continue and add a full stop etc.

Although not major problems, these niggles are quite annoying, same with my usage statistics not clearing down after a full charge.
