I've got an older Macbook Pro and a new one. I still use both but am beginning to have problems updating things on my older machine because it still runs 10.4.1.

Is there a way to download and upgrade from 10.4 to 10.6?

Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities Buy Snow Leopard > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard Then, make a backup, insert the DVD and upgrade. Finally, go to  > Software Update and update to the most recent version

If it slows down or has problems, then erase and install instead How to erase and install Snow Leopard 10.6
