I've got an older Macbook Pro and a new one. I still use both but am beginning to have problems updating things on my older machine because it still runs 10.4.1.
Is there a way to download and upgrade from 10.4 to 10.6?

If it slows down or has problems, then erase and install instead
OK, the problem is that I live out of the country. I can probably have someone purchase it and bring it to me in a few months, but if it's possible to buy online and download, that would be the preferred method.
Mac OS X Snow Leopard is not available as a download. You can buy Snow Leopard on the store of the country you're living
Call the local/regional Apple office, maybe they can send it to you for a modicum local delivery fee. Plus the $20 that the product costs, of course.....
