Calibrating iMac Display Have Questions?

I'm using Spyder4Pro Monitor Calibration software and hardware. I have a 2008 24" iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

The wizard is asking whether my computer has: 1) Gamut - a) Normal Gamut or b) Wide Gamut and 2) Backlight - a) Fluorescent(CCFL) or b) White LED or c) RGB LED.

Does anyone know these 2 answers? Also, my calibration is turning the screen too blue and I'm trying to determine why?

Thanks

Actually baltwo, I called Apple early in the morning because I had not gotten any responses from the forum. I did check 1) ColorSync Utility, select Devices->Display, and peruse the display profile settings, and the information was not there but I did not try your 1st suggestion 2) Run through Displays->Color->Calibrate (using the advanced mode). IIRC, that should allow you to determine those items.

Since Apple gave me the answers I just went with what they said. Apple did say it is likely I got a defective product so I am returning it.

Again, thanks for your reply.
