Itunes movie purchased on apple tv is corrupted., Itunes movie purchased on apple tv is corrupted.

Purchased 'The Lion King' for my kids on apple tv, but it appears the file is corrupted. about 10 minutes in the audio continues, but the video stops and some kind of movie credits start playing and the text is in french. Very weird. after a few minutes of that, the normal video picks up where it left off, but the audio has continued, so it no longer matches the video. I've tried navigating apple support pages, but its a rediculous maze that likes to send you in circles. Any ideas?

Have you tried downloading the movie again.

If the problem persists, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.

Are you having the problem with the same title or a different one? I also have another title "the nightmare before christmas" i recently noticed random French subtitles appearing out of nowhere. I emailed tech support and they suggested re-downloading, so i deleted it from my movies library, and attempted to find it again in the iTunes Store, and it now appears to only be available in Spanish. The version i originally downloaded seems to no longer be there. Weird...

This has happened to me a few times. I have also had a few problems with music files. Since I downloaded frequently from iTunes, I expect a few bad apples. I just go to "my account" then "purchases" and "report a problem". In all cases, iTunes put another file into my download queue within 24 hours. I download the clean version and it works fine.
