How to play Apple TV sound thru' Airport Express connected speakers

I want to play the sound from Apple TV over my Bose Companion 3 speakers through my Airport Express. How do I set that up?

Apple TV, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Welcome to the Apple Community.

select the express as AirPlay speakers in the AirPlay options under settings on the Apple TV.
