SSD Upgrade for Macbook White Early 2008

I am looking to upgrade my Early 2008 white Macbook with an SSD. I am thinking about the Samsung 830, but I read that it is 7mm in height. Is this going to fit properly in my computer or will I need some sort of adapter? Thanks.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

It will fit as a replacement for the HDD.

Given the age of your computer the SATA bus only supports 1.5 Gb/s SATA I, so don't waste your money on faster drives because they are not supported. Most 3.0 Gb/s SSDs will also work on a 1.5 Gb/s bus, but 6.0 Gb/s SSDs probably won't.
