Facebook share button in OS X Mountain Lion is unreliable

On Finder, I have seven photos that I want to share on Facebook. So, I selected the photos, pressed Share, and pressed Facebook.

Nothing happens.

It appears that the Facebook sharing feature is very, very flakey and unreliable to me.

Is anyone else having the same problems?

This is what I've done to resolve the issue so far (with no success)

Restart
Delete my Facebook details from System Preferences, restart, re-add

Same problem. None of my Facebook integration is working except the contacts and calndar.

Exactly the same issue with my MBP. How to overcome this problem? Do we need to wait for a new updates or there is such a way to solve it. Apple please reply

It's possible that the sharing back end helper is crashing. Open up the Console application and see if there are any crashes under the "diagnostic and usage information" in the sidebar. You may have to use the "show log list" button at left - look in the "user diagnostic reports" section.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

I had the problem too... it's just a bug and fixes by itself when you update OS X to 10.8.5... try this link
