Can I change the color Command-F uses to highlight results?

When I use Command-F on a web page in Safari to find something, it highlights the term I was looking for--so far, so good. However, nowadays it seems fashionable (especially on news sites) to use a very teensy font. That means I can't detect the light gray highlight. I know that Safari found what I was looking for, because the page moved, but I can't see what it found.

Does anyone know how I can change the highlight color?

I'm envisioning a style sheet that I attach to Safari.

The Highlight preference only changes the color of highlighted text/objects, as when you drag your mouse over some text. The Find highlight remains gray. I double checked this out when I first read this topic.

EDIT: Correction (partial anyway). In followup testing, I find the find highlight remains gray as long as the Find window is open, but turns to the color you select in System Preferences > Appearance when you close the Find window. I have been doing some research requiring lots of searching through pages and I have been leaving the Find window open, so I never saw the change.
