Problem Opening New Documents with Pages 4.3

I have just downloaded the update for Pages (4.3), and now the application is stuck. The documents I originally had open are open, and the pop-up "thinking" window is forever running. I cannot open any new documents. I have tried Force Quit, I have tried to restart the computer. No luck. Help, please!
