Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Linking multiple Keynote files will not keep Keynote in "Play" Mode

For our office presentation we have set up an INDEX (main menu) file which lists 5 different categories, if you click the "hyperlink" which is linked to the subcategory index (examples of projects from that state) file it causes Keynote to exit "Play" mode...and it then opens another screen/window. The goal is to be able to keep all files in "Play" mode while clicking forward and backward from different states and projects (each state has a main menu "index" file, and each project has its own keynote file) to additional files.

Example

INDEX Main Menu File (Shows: Hawaii, California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington) -- each state is a hyper link to a Keynote file "sub category index file" that is then linked to each project file (Hawaii Project 1, Hawaii project 2, Hawaii project 3, etc.)

If I Click "Hawaii" - ideally would like to open the Hawaii menu Index file (still in play mode), then be able to click on (Hawaii Project 1) go through that file, back to the main menu "Hawii file" then click on "Hawaii project 2" go through that file, back to Hawaii, then evenually back to the Main Menu File, click California, and go through all projects there....for each state/presenation.

The problem is every time you click any of the hyper links to ANY of the files it exits "play" mode...

The goal is to be able to go from the main "menu" page, click a state, go through the different propertie examples, back to the main menu page, click another state and then go through all of their properties.

Unfortuneately this does not work, each time you click a link to a separate keynote file it exits play mode, requiring the "user" to push play and get back in the play mode (not professional looking). Then you can get lost in the multiple windows that eventually open. Would prefer to click forward and back from projec to project and state to state.
