Q: In keynote - Leather Book theme - is there a way to remove the artwork in the middle of the cover page (between the two text boxes) (the squiggly thing)??

The easiest way i know of is open the leather bound temple save it as another template (so you do not overwrite the original).

Double click on the image and select edit in master. This will give you access to delete the squiggly line thingy.

Sorry when i said double click on background. I should of said double clicl on the element you want to remove and a dialog box will appear. The box will give you the option to edit the line element in masterpage.
