Dec 7, 2012 2:25 PM in response to MrMojorising11by b noir,Can you check something for me please? I'd like to try doing a "Run as administrator" on your iTunes.
Quit iTunes first.
In Computer, open Local Disk C: or whichever drive you have your program files installed on.
If you have a 32-bit Windows, open the "Program files" folder.
If you have a 64-bit Windows, open the "Program Files (x86)" folder.
Open the "iTunes" folder.
Right-click on the iTunes.exe file and select "run as administrator".
Try playing the movie now. Does it play for you without the message?

Thanks much. Worked like a charm. Now I can catch up on Homeland.

It's possible you're had a permission go strange here for a file or folder or a registry key. It's always a bit tricky to tell what permission is awry with one of these, so I generally try to avoid "fixing" things for fear of mucking something up ... So if you don't want to have to do a "Run as administrator" every time you want to watch a show, you could set iTunes to automatically launch as an administrator.
To do that, right-click your iTunes.exe again, but this time select "Properties". In the compatibility tab, check the "Run as administrator" box and click OK.

Dec 12, 2012 7:36 PM in response to b noirby MrMojorising11,Yeah that worked thank you, but now the movie i bought plays but there is only a grey screen with no audio or video. Really confused. I'll try redownloading the video and see if that works, and if not i'm completely clueless.
