Can I upload pictures from my iPad2 to my iPhone 5?

I uploaded a lot of pictures on my iPad from a camera that I no longer have. Is there a way to transfer these pictures on my iPad to my iPhone 5 without going through my computer?

No - I clicked on photo stream on my iPad and there isn't anything.
