i am now a new owner of an iphone 4 and i use to have a laptop which had all my music of cd´s i had i want to retrieve that information how can i do that? serial number is c8*******png all caps my number is 62*****6

What you need to do is open iTunes and import the CDs using iTunes. Then you can transfer them to your iPhone. Without knowing more about what operating system your Mac is using we can't tell you how practical it will be. Without knowing where your music was stored by the prior computer and with what operating system, it will be hard to know how to recover it.
