Q: I am reciving this msg

iTunes.exe has been set to run in compatibility mode for an older version windows. For best result turn off compatibility mode for iTunes before you open it.

Try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):
