I want to upgrade my macbook air 1.1 early 2008 model to mountain lion but I saw from the specs that is not possible.
So the only solution is to install Lion and the only way is to install snow leopard first and then Lion
I'm looking to buy snow leopard and download it from apple's page but I can't find anything....
can you help me if is available somewhere to download it ???

You have to buy Mac OS X Snow Leopard in a DVD > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
You then need update to 10.6.8 with the combo installer; http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399
Then phone Apple Sales via 1-800-MY-APPLE (be sure to ask for sales). They'll give you a download code to use at the App Store for Lion.
Lion is no longer available directly from the App Store.
At various times there have been illegal copies of Apple OS X floating around on torrent sites.
Besides the fact that they are illegal copies, they are generally loaded with all kinds of malware.
So it is best to avoid them.
