Canon MP600 print only black?

Hi! Sorry if this is the wrong board for this, but I have a Canon MP600 printer and I would like to know if it's possible to change the settings on my Mac to only print in black and white? I mainly just print text, and sadly, the printer refuses to print at all now because one or two of the other ink cartridges are empty. So how can I make the printer only use the black ink when printing? Thanks! 🙂
