After erasing the harddrive, i went to part two installing the software, but when i got to number 3 in this section, th computer doesnt come up with th disk i erased..?? Theres nothing? Help!

Eject the DVD, press Option key while your Mac is starting and select Macintosh HD

Turn off your Mac. Then, turn on your computer and press Option key to see your bootable volumes

Ok ive done that, now i have a plan white screen and my mouse arrow, the fans quite loud too?
Your computer doesn't find any bootable device. Insert the Mac OS X disc and repeat all steps again

Ive tried inserting th disc, turning it back on and holding C. Its ejected the cd and come up with a flashing folder symbol with a expenation mark within?
Take the computer to an Apple Store. Something happened with your computer when you erased the hard drive
