Sync problems with ATV per HDMI and optical out

Have some sync problems with ATV (actual), TV is connected via HDMI, sound goes over optical cable into DAC (Rega) and then to the amplifier, when using only TV-sound everything is fine, switching to the external speakers brings up a little delay, around 1/10 second. Any chance to fix this?

Welcome to the Apple Community.

I believe this delay is caused by the DAC, I don't think there is anything you can do about this.

well, was my first thought too, but i tested the same config with my DVD-player (HDMI TV, optical DAC), no problems.
