Jan 30, 2013 10:05 AM in response to ellisfrby KelseyCCD,Ellisfr,
I am having the same problem. All collections are set to take a custom theme I have created. The previews for the collections are accurate, but live is not. Most of my collections are taking the iTunes default live, and then one collection is taking a dark gray theme (not any of my created themes or the sample/default).
The discussion reccomended was not able to answer my question. Have we lost the ability to specifiy themes for collections in iTunes 11? And is there logic behind which collection will take which theme? This dark gray theme is throwing me off...

Feb 5, 2013 7:18 AM in response to music1891by KelseyCCD,I've spoken to an Apple Rep. and this is what I believe to be true... As we know the iTunes 11 revamp of the store was to create a more consistent look and feel. Therefore we have lost the ability to change the theme on pages other than the provider page. We still have the option in PSM for versions earlier than 11. I will say it's a little confusing that the preview shows themes even though the preview is in iTunes 11.. but what can ya do.

Feb 5, 2013 2:31 PM in response to KelseyCCDby Syd Rodocker,Greetings All;
On January 29th, Apple added support for the new provider page artwork on Category and Tag pages...but to date, no support for individual Collections.
Another important feature for us that is no longer functional in iTunes 11 is the ability to add external URL's. This function still works in iTunes 10.
Hopefully we'll see support for Collection artwork sometime soon. All the best...

Sep 13, 2013 4:04 AM in response to Syd Rodockerby Edinburgh University,Syd, do you happen to have any update on this? Our collections are using two different themes (dark grey/black and light grey/white), neither of which are our custom themes. I wouldn't mind so much if all collections were consistently displayed using Apple's default theme, but this does not seem to be the case and actually makes the browing experience more confusing.
Eg:

Vs:

Any update would be helpful.
Thanks!

Sep 13, 2013 10:42 AM in response to Edinburgh Universityby Syd Rodocker,Greetings from Tennessee!
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed with the graphics display issue with the latest iTunes Update (11.0.5). Individual Collections since the "11" update are all the dark brown color for us (see example 1). You can now add your specific design elements to tag pages (see example 2).
I'm sorry that I don't have any new information about Apple's intentions for addressing this issue.
All the best to you!
