how do I transfer music from itunes to my iphone5?
iPhone 5, Windows 7
From iOS: You Can't
From PC: Open iTunes and Sync....
From Mac: Same thing for windows (im not sure because im not a mac user)

You need to use iTunes on a computer and sync the music you want to transfer to your phone.
An iPhone 5 requires iTunes 10.7 or later. These versions of iTunes have certain computer system requirements.
On a Mac iTunes 10.7 or later requires max OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) or later.
Not sure about PCs. Check Apple Support for system requirements.
Be sure you meet these system requirements before trying to download iTunes.
I meant drag a song in itunes to my iphone5
connect your iPhone to your iTunes (from PC or Mac).... as you are attempting you sync, click your device and click on Manually Manage Music & Videos (it should automatically enable disk use)

Connect your iPhone with your computer and open iTunes, be sure you have installed latest version of itunes i.e. iTunes 11, on the right corner you will see a button saying iPhone and if you have already connected multipple devices that button will show only devices, after clicking that choose your iPhone 5, there you will see music tab click that tab and check box sync music, under that you will see option entire music library or selected playlists, artists etc, now its your prefrence you want all your library in your iphone or selected playlists, choose as per your desire and then click sync button on the bottom right, you are all set to go.
