How would I go about activating a iPhone 3GS on virgin mobile?

I'm trying to look around for options other then AT&T because I end up having 300 dollar bills for 3 people so I found virgin mobile 50 dollars complete unlimited plan because I need unlimited... Could you give me some steps on how to set up my iPhone 3GS with virgin mobile...

As KiltedTim mentions, Virgin is just a subsidiary of Sprint, which is a CDMA carrier. Other than AT&T (who does not allow iPhone's with pre-paid plans) you might look to see if TracFone or T-Mobile suite your needs better - they are both GSM carriers (well TracFone is a mobile virtual network provider, but they do lease network access from T-Mobile and AT&T in certain parts of the country, so you would need to check what they offer in your area).

Of course, no other GSM carrier in the USA other than AT&T can offer you full support for all iPhone features and functions.
