It is frustrating - and no, I don't think they product test these with "real" people. (They are too secretive to let any of their thoughts and plans possibly get out.) Therefore I think they aren't in touch with the end consumer. They don't listen, they don't respond!

The only thing that made iTunes worth using was the coverflow.... Typical Apple, what a crap company... I always tell people that Apple are not what you think they are... They make a nice finished product and it looks great to the consumer, great marketing.... But if you try and operate outside of the four walls that Apple has restricted you too then your screwed.... They decide how you think, look, and feel its pathetic... Start doing what your customers want and not what you think is best for us....

It's funny, this thread has been VERY popular among users and almost EVERYONE is complaining about the removal of cover flow, yet the latest update of iTunes STILL has yet to see the reintegration of cover flow! It's almost as if Apple doesn't read or monitor the forums. lol

This is SERIOUSLY annoying.
I also really dsilike the fact that the albums are now just simple thumbnails.
and what's with the thing where it's programmed to sample the color an album and paint the entire dropdown list of songs? what if the album cover is yellow? or pink? or bright red? that makes everything looks cheap cheap cheap nad very blinding - too vivid.
Cover-flow gave me the feeling like I got all my albums displayed virtually on my tv screen and it felt like the real thing - it also unifies the entire branding of the music player on iPhone - iPad etc.
it had some dark and calssy quality to it - especially when plugging my computer to my tv-screen via hdmi - on FULL SCREEN - it created an atmosphere where people can choose their music and access it easily !
I CAN'T FIND ONE GOOD REASON TO REMOVE IT.
What were you thinking ??????
we want to enjoy a new and better version, no problem with that - but with the classic features we all used to love.otherwise - it's nothing but a downgrade.
BRING BACK COVER FLOW ALREADY.

I received this from Apple - Maybe if enough people request it, they will bring it back:
I encourage you to use the iTunes Feedback page to submit your comments:

I agree completely re CoverFlow. Even more, the new iTunes look is the most ugliest ne they ever had.
Would appreciate any hints on how to downgrade to the latest version with CoverFlow.
