Q: Appleworks very slow in Snowleopard

The first thought when someone says AppleWorks is running very slow is the "Recent Items bug" & it has been around since AppleWorks 6 was released in March, 2000. Dec 8, 2012 9:30 AMby Richard Hall3,This hasn't helped one problem. It takes forever to scroll down the font list if you need to change font. I've tried the tips of Dale Gillard but I still have the problem with the font list. Any suggestions about that or is it specifically a Snow Leopard problem. I suppose the answer is to change from Appleworks to Pages as Appleworks is EOL.
