I'm confused as to what I need to purchase an iPhone 5 charger. I noticed the charger no longer comes with the chord. Do I need to buy the converter along with the charger? Or will the charger fit the new cable? The web site didn't seem to make that clear.

If you haven't gotten the new phone yet, it comes with a wall charger with a USB port and the new cable as described by Rudegar - if you need an additional charger and cable they are sold separately by Apple - the cable can also be used with other Apple USB chargers - it will also work with other compatible USB devices such as computers and car chargers and wall chargers and surge protectors.
