Question

Apple software for Mountain Lion will not update to install my HP Envy 110

Cannot get Mountain Lion software to update so I can install my HP Envy 110 printer.

Pages in iWork-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.6.7), Manual has not been helpful

Try installing this driver from HP:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-107206- 1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&os=219&product=5070125&sw_lang=

Then use Disk Utility to Repair Disk Permissions.

Hi Jane,

And if for some reason the installation is blocked due to old software, take a look here on how to manually remove the old HP files.

Your link to the HP printer support environment for this printer was released about the time of the initial 10.8 release. HP has provided updated driver support in the HP Printer Drivers v2.12 for OS X update released in October. This was available as a Software Update, or available in the Apple downloads area by that name.
