i dont want icloud turned on in the most recent update of itunes. can it be turned off.

Do you mean so you won't see items in the cloud, that aren't currently downloaded, but are showing in your library?
If so, itunes menu >> preferences >> store >> show itunes in the cloud purchases.
Yes, that works.
Then after a while, it comes back by itself. Just happened on mine.
I see menu>>preferences>>store....but there isn't a "show iTunes in the cloud purchases"....I'm trying to turn mine back on and can't figure out how. Any suggestions?
Try going to iTunes > Preferences > General, and turning off "iCloud Music Library."
