how do you gift a playlist instead of just an individual song?

Apple describes quite nicely how to gift a song, album, movie, etc.. Then they are parenthetical about giving a playlist as a gift. The instructions are something like, give a song (or playlist of songs). Yet, the specific instructions as to how a playlist is gifted are never given. I'm very frustrated and hope an Apple expert out there can help me!!! Thank you in advance!
