My bluetooth keyboard isn't working properly.

Well, as I said, my bluetooth keyboard for my iMac isn't working as it's supposed to. It can't type words or numbers, but others can e.g. delete, escape, the mission control button, etc. I've changed batteries and turning off and on, but nothing happened, it's still the same.
