Hey, I want to know if anybody tried to connect a USB Stick (Sandisk Cruzer Extreme 32GB) with a Camera connection kit (iPad 2) will it work with transferring files from the iPad to the stick?

You can't transfer files from the iPad to a memory card or USB stick with the kit, it can only be used to copy photos and videos to the iPad's Photos app.

No, the kit only supports the copying of them to the Photos app, it can't copy anything off the iPad. You can copy photos/videos that you've taken with the iPad or copied to the iPad via the kit to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
The camera connection kit can only be used to import photo/video files from a camera, SD card or USB flash drive. You can't import other types of files. You can't export any type of files using the camera connection kit.
You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit to import photo/video files.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import.
