I can not connect to a SeaGate 2 TB GoFlex storage device. I get this message

I was able to connect to this device some time ago. Seagate support does not offer any solutions.

Mac Pro 8 core Nehalem 24 GB RAM-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.6.7), 256 GB SDD, 3 X 1TB HDD
