I just purchased an epson nx230 all in one printer. It says on the box it will print wireless from iPad but now I find out that it is not "air print" compatible. Is there a way to print via my network without air print?

Many thanks for the response. Actually, my wife found the Epson i-print app on the Epson web site just after I posted the question ( go figure ). It works fine now.
