cant find itunes left side panel

just upgraded to itunes 11 and when I open itunes I just see a itunes store panel or library of itunes - but I dont see the left side with iphone device when I plug in my iphone, etc.

read many formum topics of the same question but did not answer this issue.

it seems i am stuck in itunes store and cannot get back to my personal computer itunes
