Q: How to determine if iPad display is retina

The iPad 3 and 4 have Retina displays. The iPad 2 doesn't. You didn't get what you ordered.

If you type in the iPad's serial number (Settings > General > About > Serial Number) on this page then that should tell you what model that you have.

Who did you order from? What is the model number on the box and on the iPad (on bottom of back)?
