Facebook crashes on iPad regularly

Facebook is crashing on iPad nearly everytime I use it. This has been going on for a couple of months and seems to happen more frequently now. I have used Facebook apps, Google, Safari to try differend portals to Facebook, but to no avail. It still crashes everytime i use it. I have not had this problem with any other web site. Evidently I am not alone in this. Does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it?
