does compressor support automated upload to ftp?
as part of a customised preset - in the way that Squeeze and Episode do?

I don't know how Episode and Sqeeze handle this.
If I specify my Dropbox folder as my destination, Compressor will save the output file to that folder and it will automatically be "shared" or uploaded.
Earlier versions has a remote dialogue box where you specified the address…like so.
As I recall, Apple dropped the Remote dialogue box in C 4.0.3
Is that what you mean?
