In Feb this year I was sent a link which had a MobileMe video attached. I cannot get this to work now and the Video is very previous to me. How do I retrieve it, if I can?

If the file was hosted at iDisk (homepage.mac.com) it's gone forever.
I dont know what or how it was packaged I'm afraid, the only thing I had was this:

I do have a Mac Pro but have to confess I hardly ever use it. I tend to use the work machine which is an Acer.
Should I try using the Mac?
The Gallery pages were also hosted by someones iDisk and they have all been removed.

I have emailed the person who sent me the link and asked if they can resend in some other fashion. I shall be devasted if this is lost forever...
It's a good bet that the authors of the Gallery page(s) have a local copy of the same file they uploaded to their iDisk.
