How can I open Adobe Air on my MacBook Pro? I get the installer, and an image appears in the Applications folder, but it won't open.

It does not install an application as such. If you now open any application that requires Air, then it will now run.

On the other hand if you were looking for the Adobe Air product for actually building Air-based applications, then you have downloaded the wrong thing. All you have is a player for Air-built applications. The programming application you have to purchase from Adobe.
