My HP6500E709n printer went off line during a power outage . Anyone have any experience with this ?

The blue light bar is glowing but power button doesn't come on
USB / power cord to surge protecter ( so not in the know, sorry )
Mac shut down as well
Hmmmm, so everything has been shutdown & restarted???
I shut down Mac , unplugged printer and shut down surge protecter
About to throw it through a window if not for your help . 😉
So, it's just the Printer that isn't starting up?
Correct. Tried re installing driver
HP guys say its a driver issue and want 150.00 . Doesn't make since to me with a power outage.
I could go and buy another printer but really wanted to check all my options. I also have ink cartridges I would like to use
Yeah, makes no sence that a driver would keep the printer from turning on, sure sounds like the Printer bit the big one in the outage.
