how do you control launchpad

I think you can't remove icons, butt launchpad displays everything stored in you applications folder so the easyest way to remove icons in lauchpad is to store the programms in an other folder

The same way you do on an iOS device. Click and hold the icon until it starts to wiggle and tap the 'x' that appears. Note: Unlike an iOS device this does not delete the application.
