Everytime I try to log into Ichat, it says my password is wrong, when it is right. Any help?

HI,
Your specs do not list which OS the Macbook Air is using so I can't tell which OS X you are using and that would tell me which iChat version you had.
The most common message of this sort is from an AIM Login of an Apple ID that happened to be a Valid AIM Screen Name (Ending in @mac.com, @me.com and recently added @icloud.com)
@mac.com names can be used in all forms of iChat and Messages as there is no double login to "help" AIM to read the Password.
iCloud issued @me.com and @icloud.com names will only work in iChat 6 or higher (Messages)
This is because these two apps also login to me.com as an extra security check that controls the reading of the Password.
With All of these names the AIM 16 Character limit to the password also applies.
It may be as simple as changing the password to something shorter.
If it does not involve AIM or AIM Valid names then you will have to be more specific.

Not all is true. If someone has an Apple ID that ends with .icloud.com and wants to set up iChat in Lion or Mountain Lion you WILL GET THE AIM login error message. With an .icloud.com ID you need to get an AIM username in order to log into iChat. Proof the opposite to me.
Hi,
Messages in Mountain Lion with @iCloud.com ID logged in via AIM
Account has AIM "Badge"
The account Description is "AIM(ish) iCloud which shows as the title of the Buddy List and the Account Name in the list on the left.
The Buddy List is Available (Not that I have added any Buddies to this one yet)
I tried it in Messages.
Messages logs in to me.com as well as AIM and this then allows the AIM Servers to "read" the password.
As iChat 6 also logs in to me.com I have presumed it will work there as well.
I know the name will not work in iChat 5 or Lower as those Versions don't have the me.com confirmation login.
For the same reason (needing the confirmation login) you cannot log in to this page with iCloud issued @me.com and @icloud .com accounts
