Facetime and imessage will not work.

My 2008 Macbook pro will not allow me to use iMessage or FaceTime, everytime i enter my credentials it gives me a mesage "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." I have tried the DSN trick, Safe mode trick, Wiped my HD, reset my router, tried other logins, tried different locations, I CANNOT FIGURE IT OUT! PLEASE HELP!!!
