only one working usb port

No mucked up pins

The non working is the one towards the screen.

I've done the:

CMD, op, p and r

ctrl, opt, shift, pwer

I'm fully updated (to my knowledge)

It's the early 2011 (no more support..)

If you need anything else, please let me know.

The non-working port WILL charge my cellphone.

I cannot mount my cellphone with that particular port though.

It won't let me use a mouse either.

or "my passport"

or a USB thumbstick

I'll try anything. I was considering updating to Lion to see if anything would change but I'm afraid I'd pee away 20 dollars. Any suggestions??
