Q: Install iTunes on 'internal' hard drive, PC.

I have a Gateway PC with iTunes installed, Windows XP home edition OS.  I also have a separate 'internal' hard drive.  Can I put iTunes into the separate hard drive and have it still be 'fully' functional?

iTunes, Windows XP, iTunes in PC.

This forum is for questions from those managing sites on iTunes U, Apple's service for colleges and universities to post educational material in the iTunes Store. You'll be most likely to get help with this issue if you ask in the general iTunes for Windows forums.

But answering quickly, the iTunes application itself and it's associated files can only be installed on the boot drive on your computer. You can, however, keep the library on any volume you wish.

    Regards.
