Yesterday I bought the new, 7th generation iPod Nano and I was trying to pair it with my Nissan Qashqai car radio (6 cd changer model), but iPod doesn't seem to recognise it - so not very happy at the moment.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Does your car radio support the BT A2DP profile?
If yes, did you check the manual and put the car in discovery mode?

Thanks for replying to my post. I'm not sure whether the radio supports BT A2DP, but will check that.
I'm not sure whether the problem is with the discovery mode here as I couldn't even pair them - the iPod didn't see the radio, while both were in the pairing mode. Any suggestions?
When doing a search, the Nano should only display devices that have profiles that are also supported on the Nano side. So, if the car doesn't support A2DP, this would explain why it doesn't show up in a search from the Nano side when in pairing mode.
That is most probably the reason why it doesn't work with my radio. Thanks stevev123
