email backup with Time Machine not appearing

I have tried to restore an Inbox of emails using time machine. It spends a few seconds saying it is restoring Inbox. However I do not see it appear anywhere on the left hand side bar of Mail when I go back to the present. - there is no Time Machine or other folder with the Mail.

Can anyone help - as it seems like it does restore them somewhere.
